We’re less than two weeks out—and the courts are calling. 🎾🌼

Join us at Marktplatz on Saturday, April 25 from 11 AM–4 PM following the Wildflower Run & Walk for a free, family-friendly afternoon of pickleball, movement, and community connection. Whether you’re bringing your paddle or just a little curiosity, there’s a place for you here.

This is what it’s all about: carrying forward the rich legacy of racquet sports in the Texas Hill Country—creating a welcoming place where passion grows, friendships flourish, and healthy, active lives take root. A true grassroots effort, built by and for our community, with a lasting impact for generations to come.

We’re officially breaking ground on the Fredericksburg Racquet Center with a ribbon cutting alongside the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce — and you’re invited to be part of it. Bring a friend or two and come dressed in your tennis whites or pickleball best, racquet or paddle in hand, and help us mark the beginning of something special.

Hosted by the City of Fredericksburg, this event is an opportunity to meet the departments that serve our town, explore the trucks and equipment that keep it running, and learn more about the projects shaping our future. 

We’re grateful to have The City of Fredericksburg partner with us to bring the Fredericksburg Racquet Center to life. Come connect, stay for the Farmers Market, and stop by our pickleball court on Austin Street to play a few points with us.

Tomorrow’s Tennis Clinic is still on! 🎾

We’re monitoring the weather closely, and it looks like the rain will hold off long enough for a great morning on the courts. Let’s get some tennis in and greet the afternoon rain with a little extra joy — we’ll keep y’all posted if there are any changes or delays.

Clinic Schedule | FHS Tennis Courts
9:00–10:30 AM — Beginner & Intermediate
10:30 AM–12:00 PM — Advanced
12:00–2:00 PM — Open Play

Today on Giving Tuesday, we’re reflecting on what it means to build something lasting for Fredericksburg. The Fredericksburg Racquet Center isn’t just a set of courts—it’s a place for connection, play, health, and community for generations to come. And together, we’re getting closer to breaking ground in early 2026.

There are three meaningful ways to support this effort this week:

1. Join us tomorrow at A Sparkling Evening.
A beautiful night of sparkling selections, food, music, and community at Hoffman Haus. Your ticket directly supports Phase 1 of the Racquet Center.

2. Purchase a Diamond Tennis Bracelet Raffle Ticket.
Only 100 tickets will be sold for a stunning 3.07-carat bracelet donated by Segner’s Jewelry. The drawing takes place December 3rd.

3. Become a Founding Member.
With a gift of $1,000 or more by Dec. 31, 2025, your name will be permanently recognized on our Founding Member plaque. Founding Members also receive complimentary event invitations and ongoing recognition for helping “move the dirt” and make this center possible.

Every donation—of any amount—moves us closer to a place built for our entire community.
