Supporting Those Who Have Served!

A huge thank you to Pilot Company for their generous $10,000 donation through their Miles of Good™ initiative to support food assistance for veterans in our community!

Our veterans have given so much in service to our country, and ensuring they have access to nutritious food is one way we can give back.

Thanks to partners like Pilot Company, we can continue working to ensure veterans and their families have access to the food they need to thrive.

🧡 Thank you, Pilot Company, for helping us create Full Plates. Full Lives. For those who have served!

⚾🎃 We had a BALL at Fredericksburg Nationals Fall Fest! 👻

We loved seeing so many familiar and new faces (and may have run out of candy a time or two 😂).

Thanks to this amazing community, 1,532 pounds of food were collected and $4,100 was raised for the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank! 🧡

Thanks for an amazing night, Fredericksburg! 🥫

The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank is grateful to have received a grant from The Power of Change, made possible by voluntary donations from REC members.

With this support, we were able to provide groceries to neighbors through our OrderAhead program, an online tool that lets neighbors select the items they want and schedule a pickup at various locations/times throughout our community.

REC members can help power the next local grant by enrolling at https://pulse.ly/ozr6ctlxgq.

Food assistance can make a meaningful difference, but accessing it isn't always easy.

Our region's survey results highlight several barriers, including uncertainty about eligibility, transportation challenges and discomfort visiting food distributions.

No one should have to navigate those challenges alone.

At the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, we're working with our community partners to make food assistance more accessible, welcoming and responsive to our neighbors' needs.
