VFW Post 7105 and Auxiliary are sponsoring the 46th annual 4th of July Kiddie Parade. This is a free event for children 12 and under. Bring your children, grandchildren, nieces, or nephews dressed in patriotic themed clothing and/or decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers, or even their pet. There are 8 categories that will be judged with a prize for each category.

Join us Saturday, July 4, as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a full day of hometown traditions and patriotic fun!

🎆 Fourth of July Parade
🕙 10 a.m. | Main Street
Kick off the day with more than 100 festive entries filled with red, white and blue spirit!

🎶 Patriotic Program at Marktplatz
🕦 ~11:30 a.m.
Stay after the parade for a community program featuring music, ceremony, and a special noon bell ringing honoring Independence Day.

🎇 Evening Fireworks
🕤 ~9:30 p.m. | Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park
Wrap up the celebration with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the Hill Country sky.

The community is invited to join VFW Post 7105 in celebrating Flag Day and the Army’s 251st birthday today at 11:00 am at the VFW.

Come on out to the VFW for the soft opening of the café at the canteen tonight. The food is good. The price is a reasonable and plenty of people to visit with and have fun with.

VFW Post 7105 Celebrating our 80th Anniversary on Saturday April 25th. Great ceremony and spectacular BBQ. Thank you to the community for helping us raise $83,109 towards our Capital Campaign for a new Post building. We also received a pledge for another $75,000 next year. We appreciate everyone’s support!We still need $1.7 million more to build our new building. Our new post will be for VFW members and all Veterans and the community. Remember our Post is open to the public. We are a full service bar, and will be serving bar food in the near future. We will also have Cranky’s BBQ Truck outside the VFW in the near future also!!

Auxiliary President, Pat, with students who submitted artwork for the Illustrating America Patriotic Art Contest. Congratulations to the First Place winners in the grades K-2 and 3-5 categories, their art is now going on to the state level for judging. Good luck!!!!
