Yesterday, we heard from two great individuals!

We heard from Connie Nelson from Living Well Learning Center (LWLC). The organization was founded in Fredericksburg in 2004 to fill a gap in services for high functioning, developmentally delayed adults.

It was a busy morning at Rotary today!

👋We welcomed Matthew Henn as a new member. Matthew is a Vietnam Veteran, artist and community servant.

🏅Long-time member Everardo Robles received his 1st Paul Harris Award!

🌟Our very own Dr. Sarah Nicole Partin-Parcur was our speaker this morning. She provided an update on the Argentina Global Grant. Sarah works hard to find grant funds for many of our service projects, and it will be good to hear how this global grant is progressing!

What a great time yesterday evening for the installation of new officers and the celebration of our clubs past year. Special thanks to Jim and Pat Partin who opened up their beautiful pool area to us. Jim Partin was awarded Service above Self and yesterday was a prime example about how passionate he is about Rotary.

Thank you, Brian Wiggins for an outstanding year of leadership to our club. You may now proudly wear that coveted pin of past president! You have set the bar at a high-level.!

Tom is visiting us this morning, he is a long time Rotarian and a member of the Noon Club. Tom is bringing us information about the Tanzania Water project, and providing updates on this successful collaboration of Rotary Clubs. This is a great example of what Rotary can do on a global level.

This morning Melodi Turner from the Jeremiah 29:11 Foundation gave us an update on a new community and youth center in Fredericksburg TX. We handed over a $5000 dollar check towards this great new space.
