This week the New York New Jersey Chapter gathered in Bordentown, NJ, for a well-attended and informative chapter meeting that included a tour of New Jersey Department of Transportation Training Center. Speakers included Chad Smith (Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) New Driver Work Zone Safety Program), Paul Radice (AASHTO M180 Guiderail Updates), Nisharg Dalwadi (NJDOT Capital Programs Update), and more. Thank you to the New Jersey Department of Transportation for hosting and all your support!

The Ohio Chapter recently gathered together in Put-In-Bay for their annual fishing tournament and June chapter meeting. Members had a wonderful time reeling in their fair share of walleye and working to improve the safety of Ohio's roads. Speakers for the meeting included ATSSA Master Instructor Beth Sasak discussing ATSSA's redesigned flagger certification training course and Ohio State Representative Mark Johnson, a key sponsor of Ohio House Bill 82, regarding traffic offenses in construction and roadway work zones.
