Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. - Fredericksburg Area Alumnae Chapter

Seventeen Sorors chartered the Fredericksburg Area Alumnae Chapter on August 16, 1980. Our chapter is located in Historic Fredericksburg, home to Rev.

Since then, the chapter has gained new members primarily through initiation, Sorors moving into the area, as well as those renewing reclaimed membership. Lawrence A. Davies, the first elected African American Mayor in the State of Virginia
and Soror Pamela Bridgewater Awkard, U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica.
