Important announcement for archery classes: Our coach has tested positive for COVID and will not be able to start JOAD practice this week and likely unable to start ASAP Beginners training next week. We will do our best to keep you informed and start the training as soon as possible.

Colorado Springs, CO-USA Archery is excited to announce major updates to the Instructor Certification Program to include Level 1 Instructor, Level 2 Instructor, and Instructor Trainer, and the corresponding Refresher Courses for these levels, which are now available in an online format!

JOAD Practice Information
The Gold Miners JOAD Club Outdoor season practices for 2021 are planned to resume the first week of June on Wednesdays and Fridays. The practices will be outside on the target archery field, and will be limited to fifteen (15) or less archers to allow for social distancing between archers as required by Virginia orders and USA Archery guidelines. Currently planned sessions are:
Wednesdays: 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Fridays: 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
Archers may practice for the full 2-hour session or a shorter time during the session to meet family schedule needs.
We currently have enough room for all of the Gold Miners JOAD members to attend both Wednesday and Friday practice sessions. If our membership increases, we will add more practice sessions.

The practices will be outdoors and conducted in accord with the Virginia Governor Northam’s Executive Orders #61, #65 and #72 as amended (and subsequent orders when released) and USA Archery Guidelines.
