The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region

The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region We are devoted advocates for the vitality and well-being of the Rappahannock River region.

Our mission is to build a flourishing philanthropic community in Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford Counties and the City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. A community foundation is a vehicle for people of all means to make a lasting difference in the community causes they care about. Our central purpose is to serve the needs and philanthropic aims of donors who wish to better their commu

nity, now and in the future. We do this by providing donors with flexible, efficient, and tax-effective ways to ensure their charitable giving achieves the greatest possible impact. Because our region’s civic leaders choose the Community Foundation as the most effective way to actively champion the causes they care about, we are actively growing a vital set of resources that will benefit the Rappahannock River region in perpetuity.
