The Hugh Mercer Elementary PTA is now accepting nominations for our 2026–2027 Executive Board! If you’ve ever wanted to have a voice in supporting our students, staff, and school community, this is your opportunity.

We are seeking dedicated volunteers for the following positions:

✨ Social Media/Communications Liaison

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or looking to get more involved, serving on the PTA is a rewarding way to make a lasting impact on our school community while helping create memorable experiences for our students.

Last week’s Teacher Appreciation Week was filled with so much love, generosity, and support from our amazing HMES families and community partners. Because of you, we were able to celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who pour so much into our students every single day. 💚

A very special thank you to Collage Spa for generously sponsoring a lunch for our hardworking staff. Your kindness helped make the week extra meaningful, and we are so grateful for your support of our school community.

Teacher Appreciation Week is almost here, and the HMES PTA is planning a Salty & Sweet Dessert Bar to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff! 💛💚

We need your help to make it extra special—whether it’s homemade goodies or store-bought treats, every donation makes a difference.

🍦 Eat Freddy’s & Support HMES PTA! 🍔

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 25th and make dinner plans easy while supporting our school! Stop by Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers from 4–8 PM and 15% of event sales will be donated to the Hugh Mercer Elementary PTA.

Even better — the same evening our Kindergarten and 1st Grade students will be presenting their spring concert, “Cookies!” 🍪🎶

📍 Concert Details: Hugh Mercer Elementary School Auditorium🕕 6:00 PM – March 25

✨ Make a night of it! Grab dinner at Freddy’s before the concert, or celebrate our amazing performers with a sweet custard treat afterwards.
