Over 20 years, the Harvest Classic Family raised over $1 million dollars for the Candlelighters program of Any Baby Can. Even though the rally has become a fond memory, there are still families who are battling cancer that need our support. Any Baby Can also provides a wide variety of support to families who are navigating the complexities of healthcare, understanding developmental milestones, or simply needing a community to rely on.

Please donate to Any Baby Can today, so that your donation can be matched by Amplify Austin!

Thanks in advance for clicking the link to donate!

Another SUPER-COOL motorcycle that will be available in the live auction this year is this 1981 Honda Motocompo, donated by Cycle Refinery. The Honda Motocompo was unveiled in 1981 as a mini folding scooter that was designed to fit neatly into the trunk of a car. In fact, the trunk of the Honda City compact car was specifically designed to accommodate the Motocompo in its folded down configuration. The handlebars, seat, and foot-pegs fold into the scooter's rectangular plastic body to present a clean, box-shaped package of 46” × 9.5” × 21”. It is the smallest scooter ever built by Honda.

These unique little bikes have become extremely collectable and have developed a rabid cult following. This Motocompo looks and runs great! It has new tires, and and has been gone though by Cycle Refinery. This collectable mini-motorcycle will be featured in the live auction to raise money for the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer program, so get ready to go big to go small!

HOld the Door!
It's the STAR of the Harvest Classic Raffle!
You, yes you, could win this beautiful '61 Maico Blizzard for a $5 raffle ticket this Saturday!

Please note that you MUST BE PRESENT to win the Harvest Classic raffle - it's just more fun that way!

The Blizzard was Maico’s premier post-war streetbike before they became a dirtbike-focused company in the 70s and 80s.

This 1961 Maico Blizzard was donated to the Harvest Classic by our pal Mike Rafferty. Rally staff member Vincenzo Murphy lovingly brought the bike back to life, and it runs great!
Check the style:
• beautifully integrated headlight bucket
• Earles fork front end
• steering damper
• jaw-dropping castings
• clean pin-striping
• chrome exhaust

Hey y'all, as promised, here are some better pic's of the Honda RC350 we'll be offering on auction at the rally this weekend - this absolutely stunning race bike was donated by Fred and Maggie Beck, in memory of their son, Charlie.

This one of a kind beauty was imported from New Zealand where it was raced very successfully by its builder/owner, a policeman who reportedly lived down the street from John Britten.
The bike still holds the Classic Bike lap record at its home track in Christ Church, New Zealand, and was Parade Lapped by the late great Joey Dunlop on the South Island of New Zealand before his unfortunate death. Brought to America by the Kings of Speed, they ran it at Daytona where it placed second in its class.
Fred bought the bike to race in AHRMA but has been hesitant to race it - when you see it in person, you'll understand. It's gorgeous, yes, but there's nothing about this bike that's not dedicated to going fast.
We were immediately overwhelmed by the twin urges to put it somewhere safe and polish it, AND to take it out to Harris Hill immediately and ride it for all it's worth.

If you missed the first post, here are the build details:

Live your Dream in Luckenbach!
Folks say you can't buy your dreams... unless you're at the 20th Harvest Classic this Saturday in Luckenbach!

That's right, it's the Return of the Dream - There's rally spirit in every ounce of this 1966 CA70 Honda Dream as it returns to the Auction for its 4th round of making some lucky winner happy!

Donated this time around by Richard Luttrell, this 1966 Honda Dream CA77 is equipped with a 305 cc parallel twin offering a whopping 23 hp at 7500 rpm and 17 ft-lbs of torque at 6000 rpm (fully tuned). Prepped to spread the rally magic by our own Dr J, this Dream runs great.

A quick history…. The Dream was originally donated to the Harvest Classic by our rally friends Dylan Crain and Annie Cobb in 2016. The star of that year's raffle, it's been enjoyed and re-donated and enjoyed again, spreading moto-love and raising money for the kids every time.
This coming Saturday, we'll be auctioning off the Dream for its fourth and final time at the Harvest Classic!

Bid loud and proud, and win the Dream this Saturday!

Harvest Classic

The Harvest Classic is a vintage motorcycle rally held in Luckenbach Texas every October. We get together to mess with old bikes, have a bike show, watch movies, have a raffle and auction, ride trials bikes, camp out, eat barbecue, listen to music, and more. It’s a blast, and we raise a lot of money for the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer program of Any baby Can.

For 2020, due to circumstances beyond our control (global pandemic), we are holding the rally as a virtual event on October 17, 1-4pm CST. Find out more details at harvestclassic.org. Hope to see you there!
