Rappahannock Area Kids on the Block Using the unique medium of puppetry to create awareness and understanding in our community for people with differences. Program of RACSB.

The Rappahannock Area Kids on the Block utilizes 21 different topic programs addressing various disabilities, educational and medical differences and social concerns. Each topic is thoroughly researched and field-tested product from the National Kids on the Block. A complete curriculum accompanies each topic presentation including puppet presentation with role-modeling of behaviors (problem)and so

lutions to behaviors, questions and answer segment for children, background information on the topic and resource materials as follow-up for schools or organizations requesting the RAKOB performance RAKOB is always happy to provide continued support to the school or organization annually re addressing the topic or sharing supporting topics. At each RAKOB presentation you will see:

-large hand-crafted puppets and their props role-modeling specific behaviors related tot he topic.
-a time for children to ask topic related questions
-interactive musical opening, transition and closing
-follow-up materials
-resource suggestions
