Ryan White Part B (HIV care) funding is at risk.

This funding supports lifesaving HIV care across Virginia. Without it, thousands of people could lose access to medical care, medications, and essential support services.

FAHASS is joining Equality Virginia to urge lawmakers to protect Ryan White Part B funding in the state budget. This week is our last chance to reach the Senate Finance and House Appropriations committees before decisions are finalized.

What’s at stake:
For many of our clients, Ryan White Part B funding is the difference between consistent HIV care and falling out of treatment. Cuts would directly impact access to medications, medical visits, and the support people need to stay healthy and stable.

Lawmakers need to hear from you now.

We’re thrilled to share that FAHASS has been selected as a recipient of the Amazon Rappahannock Region Community Fund! 🎉

This grant will help us provide Mental Health Access for the Uninsured and expand access to free in-person and telehealth counseling for uninsured, low-income, and LGBTQ+ adults, providing 100 therapy sessions to reduce barriers to timely mental health care..

We had a great evening connecting with other community leaders at the recognition event—inspiring to see so many changemakers working to strengthen our home.
