The Rappahannock Colonial Heritage Society, Inc. Interested in getting the word out about the rich colonial heritage of Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. Non-Profit Educational Organization

The Rappahannock Colonial Heritage Society is located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. RCHS was formed in January 2000 by a small group of dedicated people interested in getting the word out about the rich colonial heritage of Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. Fredericksburg has long been known for its Civil War heritage, but there is so much more here than that and we want people to know about

it. RCHS consists of people with a variety of interests—some of us are interested in dance, others in clothing, sewing or cooking and still others in what life was like during those times. Some of us have adopted a first-person persona. RCHS was incorporated in March 2000 and the organization was approved for non-profit status under IRS Code 501 (c)(3); therefore your donations to the Society are tax deductible.
