Meet Cindy White, Senior Director of Ecommerce at Rappahannock Goodwill Industries. Cindy said leadership matters because it shapes people, not just results. Strong leaders create strong teams, and strong teams driving lasting results.

A few fun facts about Cindy: she performed in three Pro Bowl half time shows. She is deeply passionate about her five children and her husband. Her favorite meal is steak with a baked potato & salad OR pancakes (you decide 😊). Favorite vacation spot is Hawaii or Rivera Mya. She doesn’t really have a favorite movie, but if she has to pick one, it’s Legally Blonde. Cindy said she admires Charlie Kirk because even if you didn’t agree with him, you had to admire his passion, commitment to his cause, and unwavering understanding of himself.

Cindy says the best advice she ever received is “you’ll have to work four times harder than everyone else, but I know you can do it.” Her personal motto is “Actually, I can … and I will!” She would like to be remembered for listening, caring, and always being there. We’ve been listening, and it’s been an honor to get to know Cindy White through her experience as a Leadership Fredericksburg 2026 Fellow!

Meet Travis Turner, Senior Project Estimator at CIP Finishes. Travis said leadership is an important topic because there has to be someone who takes charge of situations to make the correct decisions on how to move forward. He notes that successful leaders are able to be willing to help your team find a solution to the problem and take the lead of a situation.

Travis likes to be spontaneous but at the same time, he says he pays the “what if” game in his head a lot. His favorite meal is pizza and he enjoys cheesecake for dessert. A top vacation spot is Cabo and his favorite movie is The Little Rascals.

Travis said the best advice he ever received is “not everything deserves a reaction. Think before you speak.” He also shares that this is his personal motto. He wants to be remembered for his loyalty and dedication to getting his work done and for being honest. We can honestly say we have enjoyed getting to know Travis during his experience as a Leadership Fredericksburg 2026 Fellow!

Meet Dimitar “Dimi” Terziyski, Aquatics Director at Marine Corps Community Services. Dimi defines success as a leader as doing successful work and having successful employees. His best advice ever received is to Come with Solutions & Not Problems.

A few fun facts: Dimi is passionate about racing cars! And also about a steak cooked medium rare with a sweet potato and salad on the side. Favorite dessert to follow? A good cake, of course! He loves to vacation in Savannah, GA. Favorite movie? Lord of the Rings.

He tells us leadership is an important topic because it is a fluid science that is constantly evolving. Dimi’s personal motto is “Get There!” He hopes to be remembered for the example he has set. We have enjoyed “getting there” with Dimi during his experience as a Leadership Fredericksburg 2026 Fellow!
