Shoots are 3rd Sunday of every Month from February to August unless a special Holiday. Always check Joseph Hall.

In 1989 two men started an indoor archery league at St. It was decided that the money that was profited off of this league would be used to purchase a few 3-D targets and a couple of home-made ones. We then had our first shoot in spring of 1990. There were 25 shooters that had entered the tournament that day. We thought that we did very well for our first shoot. We then re-invested the money, tour

nament after tournament, and slowly built up the club. We got permission to use other ranches, and our shooters increased. That year we were the only archery club in the Hill Country. For many years we made our own trophies. We have to give the shooters credit for making the club as good as it is today, along with all the club workers. We have had help from other clubs, like the Amistad Bowhunter Club in Del Rio. In return we loan targets out to some of the other clubs in our area to help get archery started in the Hill Country. Kerrville, Valley Springs, and Marble Falls all had clubs open up and it was really nice to see. Now over the years they have fallen away, but with Camp Bullis, Canyon Lake, and Lampasas there are still other clubs around. Archery is a great sport and we are glad to be a part of it. This is a great club and we are proud of it and all that it stands for. We have a great membership team, and some really good workers, to help insure that the tournaments that we host are safe and fun for the whole family. Everybody is welcome.

Can’t believe we’re saying this, but we are down to the last shoot of the season! This coming Sunday, August 2. Will be the last shoot of the 2026 season! We will have barbecue, raffles, and a novelty shot, to make this shoot special! We want to thank everyone for coming out this season, It has been by far our best total turnout ever! Scores are posted! Head on over to our website to view the results. Please check on where you are in your average. If you are in the top three running scorers, you have to be at the next shoot to be eligible in the buckle running at the end of the day.

We are just a week away from our second to last shoot of this season!! We had a slight change of plans due to a large overgrowth on the intended property for this month, so we decided to hold the shoot at a different location. The updated location is the neighboring property, and is also the property from our February shoot. For directions to this new location, use the link from our February 8th pin on our website. We are pumped for our next Monthly shoot on June 6th and 7th!! We encourage everyone that regularly shoots ASA and also those that attend our monthly competitions to come!! With it being a 2 day competition, you are allowed to shoot both days, just know that your first scoring round is what gets used towards shooter of the year! Can’t wait to see yall!

We have another Competition coming up this Sunday May 3rd!! This is going to be another great shoot provided by our amazing members. One thing to note is that with the rising heat and rain, the rattlesnakes and fire ants are out and about, so please watch your step out here this weekend!! Besides that, let’s have a great one!!🏹🥇🥈🥉
