12pm | Doors open, & on stage, kite making tent opens and all food and bev ready to serve up delicious bites and sips!!

1pm | ribbon cutting

1:15pm | 50 yard kite dash

1:30pm | takes the stage!

2:45pm | Announced kite contest winners!

3:00pm | Time to party with

4:00pm | That’s a wrap!!!

SAVE THE DATE, Y'all!! Party in the Party is happening November 15th at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park!

Our inaugural annual fundraiser, inspired by beloved traditions like Blues on the Green and ABC Kite Fest, is a family-friendly event bringing together live music, food and drink, hands-on activities, and outdoor fun for all ages.

Set against the natural beauty of Fredericksburg’s Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, Party in the Park aims to cultivate a shared appreciation for
the outdoors while raising vital funds for park revitalization, youth programs, and community-driven initiatives that help our public spaces thrive!

Seize the moment with us and join Fredericksburg Parks Foundation for another Movie in The Park at Marktplatz on September 18th at 7:30pm! (Movie to begin at sundown just before 8pm)

We'll be screening Disney's Coco, and because nothing is move important than family, we encourage you to bring your whole crew!

This is a FREE event, open to all!

We will have popcorn, water and wine by William Chris Vineyards!
