Conservation Easement Support Fund RFP Closes Soon!🌱

Funding assistance through the Rappahannock River Roundtable are still available to help land trusts and landowners advance conservation easements. The fund provides financial support to address project challenges or genuine financial hardship that may otherwise prevent a conservation easement transaction from moving forward. A total of $110,000 is available through this funding opportunity.

Calling all landowners and producers!!🌱

Virginia Tech’s Alliance to Advance Climate-Smart Agriculture has expanded its enrollment statewide, and funding is still available for Rappahannock River producers. Farmers can receive financial support for implementing three key conservation practices: Nutrient Management, Grazing Management (formerly Prescribed Grazing), and Pasture and Hay Planting. Payments range from $100 to $300 per acre depending on whether you choose one practice or all three.
