Everyone meet Linda 🐾

This petite sized pup is looking for a loving family. Her foster has only the best things to say about her. Check it out… ❤️

Meet Linda!

Linda is a sweet mixed breed with a big personality wrapped in a small package!

•Single coat makes grooming and staying clean a breeze. She's submissive, playful, and full of life, but also great at napping!

•She loves walks, car rides, and showing off her cute little hoodies!

•She's great with cats and other dogs.

•She is a smart girl, eager to please, and very receptive to training. Potty training and crate training and coming along easily.

This information is reported by her foster family. We would love for someone to meet Linda to see what all the rave is about. She is an awesome pup if you’re looking for a dog that won’t be over 35 pound full grown.

If you would like to meet Linda, please submit an application

Did you know we have partnered with Stock Donator to accept stock donations? This method of donating has been brought to our attention recently and thought it was a great way to receive assistance for our animals, while saving you money on your taxes 😉. As we continue to accept more animals, our space and funding gets tighter. Because we love what we do, we never want cost to be the reason an animal doesn’t get the vet care it needs for a better life. Over the past 3 years we have saved countless animals from being euthanized due to untreated illnesses, broken bones, heartworms, or special needs care. We were able to get them the help they needed so they could be adopted thanks to your support and generosity.

We also want to continue to support those who can’t afford to fix their animals. We get requests for help everyday , but can’t always spare the money. We are huge advocates for spaying and neutering animals so we would like to continue to help those that are trying to do the right thing.

Signing up to donate stocks is very easy and free! You can find us in the directory under “Petty Pawz Rescue” or using our EIN 92-2113103 . Please consider our rescue if you have some time to review your stocks.

You can sign up at https://stockdonator.com/

Are you available to foster? 🐾

We unexpectedly took in two young pups this weekend. Can you blame us? Look at those faces 🥹

Rosa Barks (dark brown with white) and Woofie Goldberg (gold and white) are two 6-7 month old mixed breeds who are incredibly friendly and need a place to call home (or a place they can hang out until they are adopted) . They are insanely affectionate. You’re not escaping all the kisses and love they want to give you. They are great with dogs and cats. They still have lots of puppy energy and still learning their house manners.

We do not know what they are mixed with. They will be medium sized dogs when full grown

If you’re able to help with fostering , or interested in adopting, please visit our website to apply www.pettypawzrescue.org or email [email protected] if you’re available to foster ❤️

Our chubby faced Bowie knows how to win your heart over, he just needs to meet the right person willing to give it ❤️ Bowie is a 10-12 week old mixed breed (we suspect hound , but your guess is as good as ours). He is such a cuddle bug. He is perfectly content sitting right in your lap, showering you will kisses. He keeps us entertained when he’s wrestling and running with the other puppies. He just has the best personality! Those wrinkles and big ears seals the deal 🥹🐾

If you would like to have Bowie kisses for the rest of your life, submit an application to adopt him🐾

Willow is just one of over thirty animals we welcomed into rescue this week! She has been with her foster family a few days and this is what we have learned

✅Great with kids
✅Great with other dogs
✅Loves to run and play outside
✅Crate Trained
✅Seems to be housebroken for the most part, but did have a couple accidents being in a new place
✅Food motivated
✅Great on the leash

She has a great personality and really enjoys playing with the kids. She is an energetic pup, so an active family is a MUST for this girl. Willow is believed to be pointer mix. She weighs around 40-45 pounds.

If you’re interested in meeting Willow, please submit an application ❤️

Please help us welcome Prince the 5 year old, opinionated Shih-tzu. Prince lives up to his name. His handsome charm demands everyone’s attention when he walks into a room and the little guy knows how to win you over. Prince found himself surrendered to the animal shelter because he wouldn’t share his possessions with the other dogs in the home. His most noticed possession was his food bowl. He’s fine with dogs otherwise. Ideally, Prince would love to be the center of attention. If the family has another dog, he will need to be fed separately. We can’t blame him for wanting to enjoy his meals in peace 🙃

Prince is super friendly. He settled into his foster home within minutes of arriving. He’s a great little companion to have around if you need some company in the form of a fluffy small dog . He weighs 10 pounds

A couple things you should know about Prince. He does like to mark. He is a male dog after all, but the good news is, he doesn’t mind wearing belly bands. His neuter is pending ❤️

Prince is kenneled trained, however, he is going to throw a fit for the first 15-20 minutes. He just wants to be by your side.

If you would like to meet Prince, please submit an application

INCOMING FAMILY NEEDS FOSTER ❤️

We have a very scared family of fluffs sitting in the shelter right now, looking for a place to go. We have stepped up to welcome them in the rescue, but they still need a foster home. Momma is 30 pounds (she is underweight) and the puppies are 4 weeks old. We will take the puppies back at around 6-7 weeks old to begin vaccinating and the weaning process. This will also take the load off the foster because , let’s face it, that’s a lot of dedication!

Momma and her puppies need a spare room or area she can nurse and decompress. We will provide all the supplies the foster will need to care for them all.

If you would like to foster, please submit an application

https://form.jotform.com/230193841574155

Or reach out to us directly. All fosters must live within an hour from Fredericksburg Virginia

Thank you for your support 🐾
