Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Tasting Room Ambassador to join our team. This
is an hourly role offering $15 per hour, plus tips, with shifts Thursday through Sunday. As a
Tasting Room Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service
by serving wine, conducting wine tastings, and helping guests learn about our wine offerings.
You will also be responsible for operating our Commerce7 POS system and assisting with
other tasks as needed, including during special reservation events.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve wine to customers and confidently conduct wine tastings, sharing knowledge of
our wine portfolio.
Learn and stay up-to-date on the details of our wine offerings to provide accurate
information and an excellent customer experience.
Operate the Commerce7 POS system for processing sales and orders.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room environment.
Handle and carry wine boxes weighing up to 30 lbs as part of routine tasks.
Be available to work during specific reservation events.
Support day-to-day operations, including stocking, cleaning, and other duties as
assigned.
Serve prepared food to customers, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Qualifications:
TABC Certification required.
Food Handlers Certification required.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Ability to work Thursday through Sunday with flexibility for special events.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as part of regular duties.
Basic knowledge or willingness to learn to use the Commerce7 POS system.
