Ten years ago today, the Frederick Police Department lost Officer Matt Fast.
Time has a way of moving forward, but days like today remind us that some things stay with you. A name. A face. A shift you remember. A partner you don’t forget. Officer Fast was part of this department, part of this family, and part of this community. That doesn’t change with time.
Today, we take a moment to remember him, to honor his service, and to recognize the lasting impact he had on the people who worked beside him.
We carry that with us. Every shift. Every call. Every day.
