Nymeo is a cooperative, not-for-profit credit union dedicated to personalized services for its members. If you live, work, worship, attend school or conduct business in an eligible county you are welcome to become a member! Since we are a nonprofit, we have members NOT customers. Eligible Counties:
Maryland: Carroll, Frederick, Howard, Montgomery and Washington
West Virginia: Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan
Pennsylvania: Franklin

🗂️ Mark your calendars for Nymeo’s Community Shred Day in Frederick County!

Join us on Saturday, November 7, for a free and secure way to dispose of your old paper documents while helping animals in need! 💙🐾

📅 Saturday, November 7, 2026
⏰ 9 AM – 12 PM (or until the truck reaches capacity)
📍 Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium, 21 Stadium Dr., Frederick, MD (front parking lot)

Bring up to three boxes of paper documents per person. We’ll also be collecting donations for the Frederick County Humane Society, including cat and dog food, treats, cat litter, and monetary donations by cash or check.

We look forward to seeing you there as we support our community and help protect your personal information!

Rain or shine, we’re proud to support a cause that makes a difference! 💜 Last Sunday, the Nymeo team came together for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, showing our support for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and their families. Despite the rainy weather, we were happy to be part of an event that brings our community together to raise awareness and support the fight against Alzheimer’s.

❄️ Looking for a fun way to celebrate the holiday season while supporting a great cause? 🎅

Lightbridge Academy, in partnership with the City of Gaithersburg Government is hosting Snapshots & Snowflakes for a Cause on November 7! Families can enjoy professional photos with Santa or festive winter backdrops, along with holiday crafts, games, hot cocoa, and snacks.

📅 November 7 | 10 AM–12 PM
📍 16520 S Westland Drive, Gaithersburg, MD (next to the MVA)
🎟️ Entry fee: $30

The event will also collect new and gently used winter essentials, including hats, gloves, and scarves, to support local families in need.

We’re honored to share that Nymeo Federal Credit Union has been recognized by the City of Gaithersburg Government with the Youth Empowerment Award! 🏆

This recognition celebrates Nymeo’s commitment to championing youth financial literacy and empowerment through our participation in the Coalition’s Summer Youth Banking Access Fairs and Summer Splash financial education event, as well as our efforts to encourage young people through our youth checking accounts.

We’re proud to support the next generation by helping young people build financial confidence and develop healthy money habits for the future.

Nymeo was proud to make a difference during United Way Day of Action with the Asian American Center of Frederick!
Our team helped make the day extra special for expecting moms by decorating for a baby shower and preparing mini health clinic bags. We also helped prepare classrooms for the early childhood center, creating welcoming spaces for children to learn and grow.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and support families right here in Frederick!
