Over 25 years ago, individuals representing a coalition of community and government agencies, businesses, corporations and other individuals interested in senior services for older adults began a monthly networking meeting. The networking meeting provided an opportunity to share information, resources, and education with one another throughout the Frederick County Maryland community. Various busin

esses and agencies took turns hosting networking meetings and the informal group named themselves the Elder Services Provider Council (ESPC). Monthly networking meetings for ESPC members continue to be held on the second Thursday of each month. Anyone is invited to attend and learn more about senior services, programs and resources. Each monthly meeting has a host, a speaker relevant to a senior topic and time for information exchange and announcements. The ESPC has recently begun to award Charitable Gifts to qualifying non-profit organizations that provide direct and much needed services to seniors in Frederick County. Current ESPC Board Members:
