EAA Chapter 524

EAA Chapter 524 We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, pilots, and builders with a passion for aviation and serving the local aviation community in Frederick, MD.

Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our Chapter. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like-minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or

event as our guest. Chapter 524 meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the EAA Chapter 524 Aviation Education Center which is located at the Frederick Municipal Airport. As you enter the airport, park in the Terminal Parking lot. Walk south past the flight school (yellow building). There are signs on the end of the second row of hangars for the Chapter. Our Chapter is part of the worldwide network of EAA Chapters. EAA embodies the spirit of aviation through the world's most engaged community of aviation enthusiasts. EAA's 170,000 plus members enjoy the fun and camaraderie of sharing their passion for flying, building and restoring recreational aircraft.
