Today is the last day for the FHS Class of 2025 to turn in their scholarship form, don’t miss out on $500!!!

!!SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY!!
The Frederick School Enrichment Foundation is pleased to announce that applications for the Cora Fisher/Blankenship Scholarship for 2025 FHS graduates is now available. Requirements are to have completed 24 hours of course work, obtained a 2.0 GPA and enrolled as a full time student for the fall semester. If requirements are met, $500 will be awarded to those attending a college or university and $250 to anyone attending a career technology program. All funds will be paid directly to the institution the student is enrolled. You can email [email protected] for a form, stop by Benson Law Firm to pick one up or print one off of FB.

Howard and Mari McBee Scholarship Recipients

The Frederick School Enrichment Foundation Chair, Loyd Benson, is pleased to announce that the Howard & Mari McBee College Scholarship deserving recipients for the Fall 2026-2027 school years are Amery Newton Good, Mitchell Ouellette and Cody Bowland who are all attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Devin Zheng who is attending the University of Oklahoma.
Each scholarship shall cover $1,000.00 per semester which can be utilized for tuition and or books for a maximum of $2,000.00 per year to include four semesters for Juniors and two semesters for Seniors.
Loyd Benson, Chair of the Frederica School Enrichment, states that the Howard & Mari McBee College Scholarships are made possible by the generosity of the McBee Family who wish to honor their parents. Mari McBee taught in the Frederick Public Schools and served as Clinical Dietitian for Memorial Hospital for many years. Howard McBee was a long time attorney in Frederick, a constant mentor of youth and young adults, and the founder of the Frederica School Enrichment Foundation. The Frederick School Enrichment Foundation has invested hundred of thousands of dollars into the Frederick School System and deserving college students over the years. The family is pleased to honor Howard & Mari McBee with the scholarships.

Howard & Mari McBee College Scholarship

The Frederick School Enrichment Foundation is pleased to announce that the Howard & Mari McBee College Scholarship will be available to deserving students again this year. Through these scholarships, the Frederick School Enrichment Foundation proposes to award four college scholarships to deserving students. Qualified applicants who are currently attending and will continue to attend their Junior OR Senior (3rd or 4th) Undergrad year in August, 2026 will be considered. The deadline for submitting an application is Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 4:00.

Each scholarship shall cover $1,000.00 per semester which can be utilized for tuition and or books for a maximum of $2,000.00 per year to include four semesters for Juniors and two semesters for Seniors. Ally Wilson, Cameron Rice, Ivan Melendez-Lin and Caci Flores were presented the Howard and Mari McBee Robotics Scholarship by Mr. Tom Hensley.

Howard was a long time attorney in Frederick, a constant mentor of youth and young adults, and the founder of the Frederick School Enrichment Foundation. Mari taught in FPS and served as Clinical Dietician for Memorial Hospital for many years. We are thankful for their family and their generosity in supporting our youth through the Frederick School Enrichment Foundation.
