Frederick Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The Frederick (MD) Alumni Chapter was charted on March 27, 1982 and has been actively involved in the Frederick community.

The Frederick (MD) Alumni Chapter is committed to operate for charitable and educational purposes;

To recognize academic achievement, of African-American students in middle and high schools in Frederick County Public Schools. To fund educational scholarships, loans and other types of financial aid to African American students in high schools. in Frederick County Public Schools as wells as school

s of higher learning (Undergraduate and Graduate)

To assist community groups and individuals in educational, civic improvement and charitable activities. To accept and make donations of money, property, real or personal, to invest in real estate and personal property for educational and charitable purposes;

To enter into various activities and carry out contracts necessary for or incidental to the accomplishment of the non-profit purposes of the Chapter;

To promote the general welfare by providing services as necessary to the community to encourage and promote the development of its people, physical assets and its institutions:
