Wrapping up the year we had the reserve JC of the Jr show at WDE and the intermediate and HM grand of the open show at AADS, Numerous All Americans and success stories sell thru our sale!(Please shout out in the comments how your purchases are doing for you! On our last day of Convention we had a good turn out for the classification workshop at the fair grounds where Classification Chair David Hansen, and classifier Adam Liddle went over the break downs and and how the change to holstien will work and answered any questions that attendees had. Then we loaded the bus and headed out for a brewery tour to 2 local breweries on our way to the wrap up party at Steel fire farm and a great time was had by all. Delicious food, an awesome band and great hospitality! The kids throughly enjoyed looking thru the old ayrshire digests on hand and finding people they knew! Thank you Rhonda for a great party! And thank you to all our convention attendees we have thoroughly enjoyed showing you our state. We hope you have enjoyed your time here! Learned a little, had some fun and made some MD Memories! We will see you in Ohio in 2024!

Shout out to this sale crew! 95% of the labor was done by jrs! 2 National Ayrshire Youth Cadin Valentine and Tyler Lloyd had the cattle clipped up, fitted and looking awesome. Nights done by youth Gavin Valentine and Cassie Zirk, Leadsmen are all Md and National Ayrshire youth. Faithlynn Moore, Madison Mowrer, Taylor Heeter, Gavin Valentine and Oaklynn Christman. Several kids came in thru the week and helped chore and wash. When kids like this are capable and professional, have passion and pride in what they do you couldn't have asked for a smoother week. And of course to the ringleader Mark Valentine great job managing and Connor Clabaugh for helping thru the busy parts!. Thank you thank you for making this week great! If your looking for crew help feel confident in reaching out to them. We highly recommend them.

A little catch up post! Our youth tour day consisted of the kids had a full day yesterday before the sale! Trans Ova Genetics was gracious enough to give them an in depth tour of the facility. Showing them from start to finish the IVF process. From ivfing a cow and letting them watch chute side to showing them Embryos. After a lunch of pizza there they spent the afternoon on go carts and roller coasters and arcades! Thank you again Trans Ova for your generous sponsorship!

Notes for today! The bus will leave the hotel at 12 to head to the fairgrounds for a classification demonstration. Then on to a few breweries and then to Steel Fire farm for dinner and wrap up party with live band! The bus will leave Steel Fire at 10 pm to head back to the hotel!

What an amazing night that will stick with us Marylanders for years to come! Beautiful cows, hot bidding and great fun from a huge enthusiastic crowd.

The high sellers were:
P2, a pick of flush from either Bolsonaro or Wicked and out of Margot Precious, EX-91. She sold for $10,000.
Lot 16 was a Regan December calf out of Mowry's Burdette Mojo, EX-93 2E that sold for $9,900.
Lot 20 was a Reynolds March calf out of Hardy-Farm Prime Verbena, EX-94 2E who sold for $9500.
Lot 2 was Old-N-Lazy KS Madalynn-ET, VG-89 who sold for $9250.
The average on live lots, and choices was $4669.82.
