Ten years ago, I listened to a client celebrate receiving a blanket for Christmas and it moved me to get want to start the Sober Christmas Project. We went from 50 gifts to almost 1000 by the end. I was grateful for Calvary Assembly and then FCF for partnering with us over the last 10 years. I watched families come out to make this happen every year. For some families it became a Christmas tradition. I know that I was so proud to see my four boys walking gifts out in the community. The Sober Christmas Project has come to the end of its time. It so saddened me to not be part of it but I know God is moving me in a different direction. FCF is still serving this population during Christmas so if you would like to continue to serve the people in treatment facilities and the homeless. I will be changing this page to a that follows my giving back opportunities. I would ask that you continue to follow The Cadillac Counselor page so you can find opportunities to serve the community all year long. If you missed the Haircuts for the Community, you missed a very positive and enjoyable event. To all of the people who helped me make this a success for ten years, I love you.
