What a weekend for our 11U squad at the Charm City Tournament at Spooky Nook! We faced some tough competition all weekend, and our boys showed tremendous heart, resilience, and determination.

On Saturday, the KC Stallions got the best of us. But on Sunday, when it mattered most, our 11U team came back ready for another battle.

And what a battle it was! 💪🏾🏀

In a double-overtime thriller, our boys fought until the very end and came away with the 51-50 championship victory over the KC Stallions! 🏆

That’s what it’s all about—learning from adversity, responding when challenged, and finding a way to win together.

They beat us Saturday… but we got the last word on Sunday! 😤🏆

Proud of every one of these young men. Tough competition, big-time moments, and an even bigger championship finish!

“Welcome to the Hill.” 🏀📚

The College Experience — Part 1.

On August 14, 2027, we took our first college tour to McDaniel College in Maryland, and honestly, our day was beyond what words can describe.

As a young man, I never had experiences like this. No one cared enough to show me what was possible. So being able to give these young men an opportunity that I never had means everything to me.

The campus was absolutely gorgeous — you had to be there!

We brought 13 young men with us, and we explored the entire campus. They even had the opportunity to get some shots up in the gym and experience what it felt like to be on a college campus.

Our tour guide went above and beyond. She explained everything about the school and answered every question the guys had. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with open arms and treated like we were already part of the McDaniel family.

We also had the opportunity to sit down with an assistant basketball coach for about 45 minutes. He picked the guys' brains and, more importantly, explained what college coaches look for in players — on and off the court.

His first words?

“GPA.”

And that right there says everything.

At DMV Supreme, we preach BOOKS OVER BALL every single day. Basketball can open doors, but your education, character, discipline and work ethic are what can keep those doors open.

The guys got to see the dorms, experience the campus, and even eat lunch in the dining area alongside the football team and other students.

Overall, based on our experience, I would recommend McDaniel College to anyone looking for a school that truly makes young people feel welcomed and valued.

EVERYONE LOVED IT!

I was also able to make some great connections with members of the basketball coaching staff, and I'm excited about what those relationships could mean for our young men moving forward.

This is what our brotherhood is about.

We believe it's bigger than basketball.

We're creating experiences.
We're building relationships.
We're opening doors.
We're exposing our young men to possibilities.

And most importantly...

I'm truly honored to have this opportunity to coach Boys Basketball this upcoming season on the Boy's Varsity Basketball Team as an Assistant Coach. My journey has been one for the books. I've spent a million hours inside the gym. I've spent a million hours outside the gym - focusing on basketball. My dedication to our youth and community is unmatched. I preach to our kids that your hard work will pay off if you trust the process, and to also put in the EXTRA work. Well, I guess all of my extra hard work is being noticed! 🏀 DMV SUPREME ACADEMY IS PROUD TO WELCOME BACK JEREMY BOWENS, AKA COACH WORM! 🏀

We're excited to announce that Jeremy Bowens is returning for his fifth consecutive season on the DMV Supreme Academy coaching staff!
Known throughout our organization and the community as Coach Worm, he brings an unmatched passion for teaching the game, developing players, and building relationships that extend far beyond basketball. His leadership helped guide our team to an almost undefeated spring travel season, and we're excited to see what this summer has in store.

Coach Worm's impact isn't measured only in wins and losses—it's seen in the confidence he instills, the accountability he demands, and the culture he helps create every time he steps into the gym.

This past weekend, DMV Supreme Academy's 15U, 16U, and 17U teams competed at MADE Hoops Summer Live Period II, one of the premier NCAA Live Period exposure events on the East Coast.
With college coaches filling the sidelines and many of the Mid-Atlantic's top grassroots organizations in attendance, our athletes embraced the challenge of competing against some of the best competition the region has to offer.

📊 Overall Weekend Record: 5-4

The record tells only part of the story.
The quality of the competition was outstanding.
🏀 NOVA 94 Feet is one of the largest and most accomplished grassroots organizations in the DMV, fielding nearly 40 teams and producing countless collegiate athletes while competing on some of the nation's top circuits.
🏀 Dragon Army Basketball (NJ) has become one of New Jersey's premier exposure programs, consistently participating in MADE Hoops Live Period events and matching up against elite talent throughout the Northeast.
🏀 Moore Brothers Basketball, founded by former Division I standouts Ronald and Chuck Moore, has built one of Pennsylvania's strongest player development programs and competes on the highly respected ZGXL Circuit.
🏀 My Basketball Academy, Crown Basketball, Beat The Odds Lifestyle, and Team Attack Sigma are all highly respected grassroots organizations that regularly compete in premier tournaments throughout the Mid-Atlantic, helping prepare student-athletes for high school varsity basketball and collegiate opportunities.
This wasn't a weekend filled with favorable matchups.
It was nine games against programs that expect to win, develop talent, and compete at the highest level.
Despite that challenge, DMV Supreme Academy finished the weekend with five victories, including wins over nationally respected programs like NOVA 94 Feet (twice), My Basketball Academy, Crown Basketball, and Team Attack Sigma. Four of our nine games were decided by five points or fewer, proving our athletes can compete—and win—when the competition is at its highest.
More importantly, our student-athletes gained something that doesn't show up in the standings:
✔️ Experience against elite competition.
✔️ Confidence in close-game situations.
✔️ Exposure to high-level basketball.
✔️ Growth that will carry into the rest of the summer and beyond.
We're incredibly proud of every player, coach, and family who represented DMV Supreme Academy throughout the weekend.
The standard remains the same.

🏆 DMV SUPREME ACADEMY SPRING 2026 SEASON RECAP 🏆

What a spring season it has been for DMV Supreme Academy! This spring, DMV Supreme Academy proudly fielded 9 travel basketball teams competing at both the regional and circuit levels. Our athletes represented the program with pride, determination, and relentless effort every time they stepped on the court. The results speak for themselves:

🏆 12+ Championship Titles
🥈 25+ Championship Game Appearances
🚗 Competed across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

🏀 Hundreds of games played against some of the strongest competition in the region. While the trophies are exciting, what makes this season truly special is the growth we witnessed from our athletes. We saw players develop their skills, build confidence, overcome adversity, and learn what it means to compete as teammates. From early morning departures to late-night championship games, our athletes showed resilience and commitment. Our coaches dedicated countless hours to player development, and our families provided unwavering support throughout the season. Every championship earned, every runner-up finish, and every hard-fought battle helped shape our athletes into better players and better young men and women. To our players: Thank you for trusting the process and representing DMV Supreme Academy with class and character.

To our coaches: Thank you for your leadership, passion, and commitment to developing our athletes on and off the court. It's bigger than basketball. We>Me.

To our families and supporters:

Thank you for the miles traveled, the weekends sacrificed, and the energy you brought to every gym. The spring season may be ending, but the work continues. As we approach the end of our spring travel season, we are excited to invite everyone to come out to this week's DMV Supreme Academy Summer Tryouts!

Our summer travel season consists of 4 tournaments beginning at the end of June and running through September. We understand many of our high school athletes are involved in summer league play, so our schedule is designed to work around those commitments as much as possible.

Over the weekend we had two of our teams playing at Gettysburg college, our 14u and one of our 15u teams. Both teams came home with the championship. As we approach the end of our spring season, it was phenomenal to see our 14u play for a championship. They played on the MADE Hoops middle school circuit in the spring, where they faced very good competition all spring! So for them to bring home a championship this weekend was awesome! Congratulations to both teams! Great team work by both teams and always remember, We>Me!!
