⭐ 7 DAYS UNTIL MISSION 28 - FEATURING A TRUE AMERICAN HERO! ⭐

In just 7 days, Mid-Michigan Honor Flight Mission 28 takes flight, and we are incredibly humbled to announce that Medal of Honor Recipient CSM (Ret) Terry P. Richardson will be on board!

CSM Richardson, born in Cass City, Michigan, was awarded the Medal of Honor on March 2, 2026 for his heroic actions on September 14, 1968 while serving in Vietnam. To have one of our nation's highest decorated heroes flying alongside our Michigan Veterans is an honor beyond words.

Mission 28 will carry 5 Korean War veterans, 75 Vietnam war veterans and 1 Vietnam/Korean war veteran to Washington D.C. to see their memorials — at no cost to them.

On World Mental Health Day, we honor more than service — we honor the story that comes home with our Veterans.

For many WWII, Korea, and Vietnam Veterans, the memories of service don't end when the uniform comes off. They stay quiet for years.

That's why a Tour of Honor is more than a trip to Washington, D.C.

It's a time of healing. It's being surrounded by brothers and sisters who get it. It's finally hearing "Welcome Home" and "Thank You." It's sharing stories that have waited decades to be told.

To every Veteran — your mental health matters. Your story matters. You are not alone.

If you or a Veteran you love is struggling, please reach out:
Veterans Crisis Line: Dial 988 then press 1

We will always be here to listen, to honor, and to stand with you.
