Our post had a very meaningful morning today. We started the day at the masonic lodge enjoying breakfast with other veterans. We than conducted 2 blue star banner presentations to a young soldier's family that is at basic and one who is about to ship to basic training. We concluded it with providing funeral honors for a brother who has left us. The American Legion is about supporting veterans who have passed, those who are living, and those young patriots who are joining our ranks.

Legion members helped serve brats and hot dogs at National Night Out in Frederic. We served 575 total of brats and hot dogs. What a great first year event done by the Frederic Are Chamber of Commerce and Frederic Police Department.
