What distinguishing mark on this animal makes it clear she is not a full wolf (even though you see her run off to chase the dogs)?

I’m very curious about something. When you hear this does it touch a place deep inside you? Do you resonate with this sound and feel for what the animals may be communicating? What I want to know is how you are capable of such a feeling of resonance and relationship while others want to immediately kill these wolves? What makes that difference? I’d like to study this. Hopefully understand better how we can change hearts and minds (and which comes first!).

There’s a young pig that was filmed running through the streets of Los Angeles and some of our animal-loving friends notified us here at LARC. We are looking into rescuing the little guy they named Wilbur💖💖💖 LARC’s Max may not like having a little brother but we will make space for him.

What an amazing day at LARC! We had our Dream Team veterinarians Dr. Rachel and Dr. Steve along with Chris Eksteen Exec Director of the Ojai Raptor Center who helped get our wolfdog Kimmi ready for her dental cleaning along with fabulous assistant Jillian! Everything went smoothly for all the animals examined today.

Just a two hour drive from our sanctuary on the way to a rescue we encountered the elephant seal rookery. Amazing place. The seals come all year round, this fall is birthing season. Can’t wait to go back for that.
