Saturday night our Scouts took part in a meaningful Flag Retirement Ceremony, properly and respectfully retiring worn American flags. 🇺🇸

Our Scouts learned the importance of honoring our nation’s symbol and the responsibility that comes with caring for the flag. Moments like these help build respect, leadership, and understanding of the traditions that unite us.

The scouts were active in every part of the ceremony. They started by cutting the flags properly, placing them in the fire, staying with them until they were no longer recognized as a flag, and then ended with burying the ashes.

We are proud of these Scouts and the respect they showed during this ceremony. 💛🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who donated food items for Food for Scouting 💙

With help from the community, we took 1,605 items to the Rainbow House for donations this evening.

This yearly community service project is something we look forward to every year and we could not do this without your help, so THANK YOU.

Let’s see if we can go even bigger and better next year! 💛

Due to inclement weather, Troop and Pack 328 were unfortunately unable to place flags on the graves this Memorial Day. We know how much this tradition means to our community and to the families of those who served.

We honor and remember our fallen heroes today and every day, and we appreciate your understanding. 🇺🇸
