We understand the needs of the community and will continuously seek ways to give back.
Come out and bring the kids. There will be games activities and prizes for adults and kids.
Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude and we are forever grateful of the community of Bogalusa and its residents who aid in our success.

Xavier University of Louisiana today announced a $38 million unrestricted gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott. This transformative investment is Scott’s second major gift to Xavier and is the largest private donation in university history. She awarded Xavier $20 million in 2020 in recognition of the University’s national impact as the only historically Black and Catholic institution in the United States.

“This generous gift from MacKenzie Scott fills us with profound gratitude,” said Dr. Reynold Verret, President of Xavier University of Louisiana. “To receive such an investment near the close of our Centennial year is both humbling and inspiring. These funds will enable us to expand our affordability initiatives, which directly support talented students from diverse backgrounds. Ms. Scott’s belief in Xavier’s mission strengthens our resolve to carry forward the legacy of Saint Katharine Drexel and prepare future generations to lead with truth, justice, and service. We love a PARADE! Join us along the route today at 4:30. Parade runs from the Fairgrounds entrance, continues south down Main Street, turns left on Washington Street at the Courthouse, and ends at Farmers Market. The marching groups will disband in order to bus students back to FHS. All floats will continue to FHS to unload. Bonfire starts at 6!
