Journey Ministry Pantry thanks you for the donations of fresh produce. During the month of May, 2026, the Franklinton Community Garden supplied the pantry with a total of 396 pounds of produce. WHOO HOO! We are glad to help such a great organization helping so many families in our area!

Food insecurity has steadily worsened across North Carolina, reaching its highest levels in nearly two decades. State averages indicate that over 1.6 million people (approximately 1 in 7 residents) face hunger, heavily driven by the cumulative effects of post-pandemic inflation and ongoing federal reductions to assistance programs. We try to help alleviate this in our community. For those in need come to our weekly distribution on Saturday mornings from 11-12 at the garden.
