All of us remember Dolly for every good and wholesome reason. Here she is pictured with Scott, his wife Tracie and Dr. Dennis Wells. Dr. Wells planned a benefit at the Ryman Auditorium and proceeds from this event supported two charities and one was CARES. Thank you to Dr. Wells and his team for this wonderful memory and reminding us the many ways Dolly was so philanthropic using her gifts with the world.

My wife Tracie and I met Dolly Parton at a benefit in January, 2020. After taking a photo with her backstage, she pulled me aside to ask me about my health. Her heart for others sets her apart, and her passing leaves a hole in our world. Rest in peace Dolly.

For the Minnigan family, this event is deeply personal as David undergoes treatment for glioblastoma. Proceeds will support innovative glioblastoma research in honor of David and Lisa, helping advance better outcomes for patients facing this aggressive brain cancer.

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation’s Emerging Leaders Board brings together young professionals who want to grow as leaders, build meaningful connections and help change the future of cancer care. Through fundraising events and community engagement, members have the opportunity to use their talents, bring new ideas to the table and make an impact while supporting a mission that matters.
