The same heart behind everything we do comes through in a message our founder, Chris Whitney, recently shared.

Opening up Psalm 42, Chris talks honestly about what it looks like to long for God in the hardest seasons. He doesn't shy away from his own story either: a daughter doctors said would never walk, deep losses along the way, his own cancer diagnosis, and the question so many of us have asked in the middle of pain, "where is God?"

What comes through is the same conviction that fuels this mission every single day. Hope holds, even when everything else feels like it's slipping. As Chris and Elaine decided in one of their hardest moments, we're going to fight.

On August 8, The Factory at Franklin fills up with 40+ distillers, 10 chefs, and 10 tequila producers for a night of incredible food, great whiskey, and meaningful conversation. As Southern Whiskey Society puts it, this isn't a tasting event. It's a gathering.
