As we get more information regarding the horrific floods and mudslides that have wreaked havoc on Nepal, we want to say THANK YOU to those who have prayed with us and offered financial support for our relief efforts on the ground in Nepal.
Currently, we have one of our partners in the disaster zone who has been able to provide food for 60 families as well as solar mobile phone chargers so that those in the mountain villages are able to communicate with loved ones to know who has survived and who is missing.
Major roadways and bridges are destroyed so we are navigating traveling through secondary roads that are difficult and can’t handle larger vehicles with larger volumes of supplies. Most items will need to be moved by motorbikes at this point. Once we are able to get the supplies to these mountain villages, they will be sent to local churches who will work with the local government to distribute them in the most affected communities.
