For the beginning of the school-year, we set a goal to raise $3,000 for desks, library books, and basic sports equipment for our school in Malawi. Helping give the students the tools, education, and opportunities they need to achieve their God-given potential is huge, while also supporting a much bigger vision for the future of this community. We’re amazed by your generosity and so thankful for each person who supported this goal that we EXCEEDED!

Here is a snapshot of the students using the sports equipment in a friendly ⚽️ match. Huge thanks to everyone who chipped in—your support means everything and is really making a difference for our community in Malawi.

It was an honor to welcome U.S. Senator Joni Ernst to Kanad Hospital, together with the H.E. Alia Al Suwaidi, UAE Deputy Ambassador to the United States.

Senator Ernst’s visit reflects the long legacy of American-Emirati partnership at Kanad Hospital. She shared her appreciation of the UAE and for the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed in the region.

We hope her visit offered a firsthand look at how Kanad’s dedication to excellence continues to contribute to this remarkable story of partnership, friendship, and service! 🇺🇸🤝🇦🇪

Yes, another disaster has hit Nepal- please pray for the relief efforts as well as the safety and provision in the coming days for our brothers and sisters in Nepal. Currently rescue workers have suspended search operations due to dire weather.

📢 Update for flood disaster relief: Our team is still in the flood zone and has been helping deliver relief to the refugee camps that have been established. We are blown away by the generosity of those who have supported our Bridge to Nepal fund- thank you! Please continue to pray for this beautiful country. 🇳🇵

Greetings from "The Warm Heart of Africa", also known as Malawi. It has been an amazing week visiting our school and community development project here in the Zomba District of Southern Malawi. Such a beautiful place.

I was honored to meet with parents and children, teachers and volunteers, local tribal chiefs, physicians, volunteers, grandparents and farmers... all working together to turn this remote and impoverished area into a place of learning, growing, and caring for one another and the environment. A 90-year old elder of the Yao People Group welcomed me with joy and care in his eyes, telling me of the miracle of this new school and work in his village.

More details to follow on this phenomenal journey. Just know that your gifts and partnership are helping to provide a new library and laboratory currently under construction, new soccer balls, new books and supplies for the 100+ students expected to arrive next week as school begins.

And with hopes and future plans for a clean water supply, solar power, a nutrition program for the kids, a future student farm, health clinic and a much-needed ambulance / school transport to serve the village, dreams are becoming reality through genuine partnership and a shared vision.

We have been in contact with our Nepali National Director, who, along with others, is actively providing aid and support in the disaster zones. To date, they have successfully distributed hygiene kits, clothing, food, solar lights, and various other essential items to those in greatest need. Please keep our team in your prayers.

Pray for their safety as they navigate the challenging mountain roads and that they would be a blessing to those they are serving.

As we get more information regarding the horrific floods and mudslides that have wreaked havoc on Nepal, we want to say THANK YOU to those who have prayed with us and offered financial support for our relief efforts on the ground in Nepal.

Currently, we have one of our partners in the disaster zone who has been able to provide food for 60 families as well as solar mobile phone chargers so that those in the mountain villages are able to communicate with loved ones to know who has survived and who is missing.

Major roadways and bridges are destroyed so we are navigating traveling through secondary roads that are difficult and can’t handle larger vehicles with larger volumes of supplies. Most items will need to be moved by motorbikes at this point. Once we are able to get the supplies to these mountain villages, they will be sent to local churches who will work with the local government to distribute them in the most affected communities.

Yesterday, August 26, 2026, a catastrophic glacial collapse along the Nepal-Tibet border triggered a massive deluge that destroyed entire villages, roads, and bridges, leaving hundreds dead or missing. Our partners on the ground are preparing to deliver relief supplies and dispatching service teams. Congratulations to the Matuta Foundation Secondary School (Form 2 students) for once again passing the Junior Certificate Exam set by the Ministry of Education through the Malawi Exam board with a 100% pass rate! We are so proud of all of your hard work and determination! 👏
