Post 4411 Installation of Officers

Sergeant (USMC) Jayton D Patterson VFW Post 4411 installation of officers for 2026-2027 was conducted on May 21, 2026. Our Installing Officer was Past District 2 Commander Mike Chism. The newly elected officers for the upcoming year are:

Commander- Comrade Bill Hunnicutt (3rd Term Serving as 4411’s Commander)
Senior Vice Commander- Comrade Todd Criner (Not Present)
Junior Vice Commander- Comrade Dave Muise
Quartermaster- Comrade Susan Moore
Adjutant- Comrade Dave Gross
Trustees- 3 Year/Chaplain- Comrade Christii Stipp

Thank you Commander Jeff Draughn and Senior Vice Commander Gary Munford for leading us these past two years to achieve All-American status during both your terms in office!!!

Good afternoon VFW Post 4411 Family!!

We've got a few important events coming up!!

21 May, Thursday at 7:00pm: VFW Meeting. Immediately after we conclude any new business, the meeting will be open to everyone and at that time, we'll conduct our new Officer's Installation Ceremony!! This is a significant event that sets the tone for our upcoming year!! All Comrades and Auxiliary members and their guests are encouraged to attend.

23 May, Saturday at 9:00am: Display of U.S. Flags by the gravesites of over 300 Veterans laid to rest at Southampton Memorial Park Cemetery located at 27396 Pretlow Road, Franklin. This is a very honorable event and we should all be proud to help!! Contact Comrade Paula Thompson if you have any questions regarding this event.

25 May, Monday at 2pm: Memorial Day Ceremony. All Comrades, Auxiliary members, and the community are invited and encouraged to attend this event to help us honor our fallen hero's!! Hotdogs and burgers will be served. Comrades and Auxiliary members are requested to bring a side dish or dessert. Weather and fire-restrictions permitting, we'll also have a Flag Retirement Ceremony prior to the blessing of the food.

26 May, Tuesday at 9:00am: Pick-up U.S. Flags from Southampton Memorial Park located at 27396 Pretlow Road, Franklin. Due to end of the week yard maintenance, we can't leave the flags out or they'll get destroyed by the mowers and trimmers, so we had to reschedule the flag pick-up to this earlier date! After we're done, we usually like to meet-up for brunch at Fred's Restaurant so come hungry.

30 May, Saturday at 8:00am: Pick-up U.S. Flags from City of Franklin. Meet-up location is at Barrett's Landing parking lot near the boat-ramps. After we're done, we usually like to meet-up for brunch at Fred's Restaurant so come hungry.
