Wanna see some cute puppies and talk about low-cost veterinary surgery with the best of the best? Come on down to the 7th Annual Church Street Sidewalk Sale in Whitinsville from 10-2 today, June 20th!

Our practice manager, Emily, will be there supporting the local community, along with dozens of other craft and food vendors, entertainment for kids, and even a local authors' corner! Oh, and of course PUPPIES from local rescue group 🐕

One question we are often asked is whether we accept CareCredit. At this time, we do not.

After careful consideration and many years of combined experience in veterinary medicine, we have determined that CareCredit is not the best fit for our mission. While it can be a useful financing option in some situations, the program charges veterinary practices substantial fees for participation. As a nonprofit organization, those costs would either need to be absorbed by the clinic or passed on to the families we serve through higher fees.

We don't believe either option aligns with our commitment to providing affordable care. At LILVC, every decision we make is guided by keeping veterinary care affordable and accessible for more pets and families.

Our goal is to keep our pricing as low as possible while maintaining the highest standards of surgical care. Every dollar we save on administrative and financing costs is a dollar that can be directed back into patient care and helping more pets receive the treatment they need.

At this time, we DO accept cash and all major credit cards.

Thank you for trusting us with your pets and for supporting a model of veterinary care that prioritizes transparency, affordability, and access. Together, we're working to ensure that more pets can receive the care they need when they need it most.

We are incredibly honored and grateful to announce that Love Is Life Veterinary Clinic has been selected as a recipient of funding through the Pet Plate Program from

This grant will help us continue providing low-cost spay and neuter services to pet families throughout Massachusetts, making veterinary care more accessible for the animals and people who need it most.

So, what is the Pet Plate Program?
Massachusetts residents can purchase a special “I’m Animal Friendly” license plate through the RMV, and a portion of every plate purchase goes directly toward funding grants for spay/neuter programs across the state. These funds help reduce pet overpopulation, support shelters and rescues, and make affordable veterinary care possible for thousands of families.

Want to help? Here are a few ways!
--Apply for a Pet Plate through the Massachusetts RMV
--Share information about low-cost spay/neuter resources
--Encourage friends and family to spay and neuter their pets
--Continue supporting local veterinary clinics, shelters, and rescue organizations

Swipe for the cutest little b***y in town!! Monk came to LILVC recently due to an infection on his tail that wouldn’t heal despite months of medical treatment. A surgical consult recommended amputation, and Dr Paul was more than happy to step in and help this family. Now a week later and Monk is living his best life as a “senior puppy” and his family doesn’t have to worry about any more infections (or glasses being knocked off the table). Thank you so much to Monk’s family for trusting us with his care ❤️

We are incredibly proud to highlight our own Dr. April Paul, who recently spoke as a panelist at the -sponsored event featuring Stewart, founder of , held on 4/25 at Worcester Technical High School.

Dr. Stewart’s work has inspired veterinary professionals across the country by bringing compassionate veterinary care directly to people and pets experiencing homelessness. His mission is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves the love of a pet, and every pet deserves access to veterinary care — regardless of circumstance.

That belief aligns deeply with our mission. At LILVC, we are committed to breaking down barriers to veterinary care and creating accessible, judgment-free services for families and the animals they love. We know that keeping pets healthy helps keep families together, and that access to care should never be a privilege reserved for only a few.

We are honored that LILVC was part of this important conversation alongside veterinary professionals from across Massachusetts who are working to create a more inclusive and compassionate future for veterinary medicine.

We’re excited to share that we’ve officially partnered with the Mass Animal Fund and are now accepting MAF spay/neuter vouchers!

If you already have a voucher, you can schedule your pet’s surgery with us. We’re honored to help make this important care more accessible to our community!

At this time, the Mass Animal Fund is NOT accepting NEW voucher applications. However, support is still available for:
• Animal Control Officers (ACOs)
• Emergency spay/neuter cases
• Individuals already on the MAF waitlist

New voucher applications are expected to reopen later this year, so stay tuned for updates!
