Another fun night at Quilt Guild. Lots of beautiful Show and Tell quilts, and a bag made out of old jeans. The last picture is from our talk on what to do with "ugly" fabric. Linda has promised to make us a quilt from the donations of ugly fabric from our membership. (A lot of us seem to dislike fabric in brownish hues, and a surprising number of people dislike Kaffe. LOL.)

Lots of laughter at our most recent Quilt Guild meeting, but not as many pictures to share. This is the time of year when lots of people need to put their sewing aside for a bit, to partake of family and holiday fun.

FYI: Some pictures have not been posted, as they are going to be a gift for someone who might see this page. It was also challenging to try to get as much of the quilts in the picture without people's faces, or mostly being a picture of potluck food!

I hope everyone has a peaceful holiday season.

Lots of great quilts and other wonderful displays of our members exceptional sewing skills shown at our recent Guild meeting. It was great to see some members who haven't been able to attend in awhile, and also new people to the group. Looking forward to seeing everyone again, particularly for our December meeting, where shinanigans will inevitably take place.

Show and Tell at our recent Quilt Guild meeting was as inspiring as usual, and shows that quilters love to sew other items as well. The talk was on reusing and repurposing, and Linda showed what she could do with an old quilt and a thrifted jean jacket. The last two images are from our block challenge, with an interesting interpretation of the circle challenge from a previous meeting, and an example for the flying geese challenge for next month.
