Registration opens today at 5pm! Enroll in 4-H before that, so I can approve you.

🚨Mark your calendar for State Leadership Conference!

Registration for this event will open on ✨Friday, October 9 at 5pm✨ and close on December 1.

SLC will be held from February 5-7, 2027 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The event is open to 4-H teens, ages 13 to 18.

You must be in active status to register, so be sure to reenroll as soon as possible if you plan to attend!

Not a 4-H program, but the fair is looking for youth volunteers and youth voices and wants 4-Hers to be a part of that!

🚨 THE FAIR NEEDS MORE PEOPLE — NOT JUST MORE IDEAS. 🚨

In order to grow the fair and our activities we must grow our volunteer resources.

And here’s the important part:

You do NOT have to be on the Fair Board to help.

We are working to build volunteer committees and project teams made up of people from our community who want to help in whatever way fits them best.

Maybe you:

🎤 love planning events
🌾 know livestock or agriculture
💸 are great at fundraising or finding sponsors
🛠️ can build or fix things
🎄 enjoy decorating
📳 know social media
📸 take great photos or videos
🤹🏼 want to help with youth activities
💡 have ideas for Fair week
⛺️ can help with camping, rentals, exhibits, grounds, entertainment or vendors
⌚️ only have a few hours to give
🙋🏽 or have absolutely no idea where you fit but want to help

👉🏼WE WANT YOU.👈🏼

We are also measuring interest in a possible Junior Fair Board for young people who want to get involved, build leadership skills and have a real voice in the future of the Fair.

This is just an interest survey — filling it out does not lock you into a committee, monthly meetings or a lifetime sentence at the fairgrounds. 😂

It simply helps us find the people, skills and ideas already sitting right here in our community.

So… if you have ever said:

“The Fair should…”

this might be your chance to help finish that sentence. 👀

Come walk the Fall Pumpkin Promenade and see over 300 carved pumpkin lit up!

One night only!! Saturday, October 10th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. $3 for ages 3 and up.
Venango County Fairgrounds, 867 Mercer Rd., Franklin, PA.

Educational displays and concessions inside Rainy Linn Hall.

Registration for SLC opens this Friday, so re-enroll in 4-H NOW, so I can approve you by then! This event typically fills up fast, so i recommend registering as soon as it opens!

We have 2 4-H Trunk or Treats this year on different days, in different locations, and hosted by different clubs. Please consider attending both! Looks like they will both be a super fun time! Both groups are still looking for trunks-- 4-H clubs, consider promoting your group at these events!
