If your child doesn’t know their full name, address, and a safe adult to call—you’re not ready for sleepovers, playdates, or even the park.

We teach kids their ABCs, how to tie their shoes, how to say “please” and “thank you.”
But we forget to teach them how to stay alive if something goes wrong.

Your child should know:
• Their full name
• Your full name (not just “Mom” or “Dad”)
• Your phone number
• Where they live
• Who a safe adult is—and what to do if they get lost or scared

Because here’s the truth no one likes to say:
We are raising kids in a world that isn’t always safe.
Kids disappear in seconds.
Get separated in crowded places.
Get left behind by accident.

And if you think, “That would never happen to me,”
Just know: almost every parent who’s lived this nightmare thought the same thing.

This isn’t fear-mongering.
This is basic safety.
And if it makes someone uncomfortable, good.
Because that discomfort might be the reason a child gets home safe
