Through Masonry every man learns that there are three great duties that he is to carry out:
To God: A Mason must look to the Creator with reverence, view Him as the ultimate source of good, and never mention His name lightly.
To His Neighbor: A Mason must act on the square, treat others with equality, and offer relief, charity, and justice to all mankind.
To Himself: A Mason must practice self-restraint and avoid excess to maintain a healthy, moral, and productive life.

Loss of a Union Village Brother:

Brother Dennis Howard Torrance, middle brother of Bob and Larry, has laid down his working tools. He was a 46 year member of Union Village 545. His Masonic service will be this Monday the 19th at 7pm at Swartz Funeral Home in Franklin. Please arrive 6:30 to 6:45 to gather and prepare. Brother Cleon Wright will be officiating. Masonic Education from Bro. Rod Blevins PM Franklin 107

In Freemsonry we are taught Three Principle Tenets

Brotherly Love: Teaches members to view the whole human species as one family—high and low, rich and poor—who should aid, support, and protect each other.

Relief: Embodies the duty to practice charity and assist the distressed, including fellow members, their families, and widows or orphans.

Truth: Regarded as a divine attribute and the foundation of every virtue, inspiring Masons to be sincere and direct in word and action.

Prayer needs:

We have a few Brothers at 107 ( that I know of) who are in need of prayer.

1) Brother Gregg Cantwell PM is having issues related to his heart, diabetes, and eyes.

2) Brother Timothy McIntosh SW and acting WM is having lingering back issues.Just had some injections last Tuesday.

3) Brother David Cade PM is slated for another hip replacement October 13.

4) Brother Pat Zufall PM is recovering from shoulder surgery. Currently at a 2 # weight limit but progressing well.

5) Brother Fred Paris is slated for Hip replacement on Nov. 23rd.

6) Brother Robbie Morse is in need of employment. Any leads are appreciated. He has a Doctorate in IT/ Education type stuff. I think he is game for most anything right now.

A) Pray that all goes well at the Fish Fry this Saturday. Help is still needed!

Great Stated meeting at Franklin 107. 25 Brothers including our 2 EA's. Masonic Education on "Symbolism" by PM Rod Blevins. 1 investigating committee set. Fish Fry coming up this Saturday 11 to 6 along with a Yard Sale. A volunteer is needed to play cashier for the sale. Everything will be ready. Anybody willing is welcome to do so. Also help for the Fish Fry. Especially for opening at 11. Fraternally, Scott Graham PM 107.

We are taught four main virtues through Freemasonry ensuring that our conduct toward all people is honest, fair, upright, and morally straight:



Temperance: The due restraint upon our desires and passions, keeping the mind and body governable and free from vice.

Fortitude: A noble and steady purpose of the mind, providing moral and physical courage to face adversity, pain, or peril.

Prudence: The ability to regulate our lives by reason, exercising good judgment and foreseeing the consequences of our actions.

Justice: The standard of right that enables us to render to every person their exact due without distinction or favoritism.

2) Stated Meeting at Franklin 107 this Tuesday the 6th. Dinner at 6 with Meeting at 7. Rod Blevins will be doing Masonic education. All Masons are welcome.

3) Fish Fry at Franklin 107 this Saturday the 10th. Serving 11am to 6pm. Flier to follow. Help is needed for the Fish Fry and someone to run a simple rummage sale.
