Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we ask everyone to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of the day and remember those who gave everything for our freedom.

From all of us at Franklin City Professional Firefighters, thank you to our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy. 🇺🇸

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the students and staff from Grace Preschool to the firehouse!

The kids spent the day learning important fire safety tips, exploring our apparatus, and getting a hands-on experience by putting out “fires” in our spray house. They also toured the trucks, met firefighters, and asked some great questions along the way!

We love opportunities like this to help teach fire safety in a fun and interactive way while building relationships with our community’s youngest visitors.

Thank you to Grace Preschool for spending part of your day with us — we hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

This weekend members White, Booth, and Mauk completed a two-day training with Crash Course Village focused on hands-on vehicle extrication.

The training featured innovative, realistic scenarios designed to challenge crews with the kinds of situations they may face on the street. From patient access to complex disentanglement techniques, this course provided valuable experience that sharpens skills, builds confidence, and strengthens our ability to serve the community when every second counts.

We appreciate firefighters White, Booth, and Mauk for their continued commitment to training and professional development.
