Franklin Falls trails day updates: Under our events you will see we are having a trail day to fix the old bench climb at Franklin falls this Sunday [6/7]. In our usual nutty fashion, why settle for a trail day when you can check out the inside of the Dam first.
So even though the weather looks meh [trust me digging dirt in the rain is way better than a sunny day in the 80s], join us at 8:30 for a private volunteer tour of the dam followed by trail work at 8:30. If you are just coming for the Dam tour, please attend the later sessions that are open to the general public.
We can only fit a limited amount on the tour so please select "going" on the event page if you are coming, we have 9 right now.
What do I bring? Great question, water, gloves, bug spray, and your favorite trail tool if you have one [we also need one more person with a sawz all and some disposable blades to help remove roots].
If the weather is okay afterwards we will have a grill going for food.
