Too many politicians enter office talking about service and leave years later far wealthier, more connected, and completely disconnected from the people they were elected to represent.
Meanwhile, everyday families are working harder than ever just to keep up with rising costs, healthcare bills, housing, and childcare.
People are tired of feeling like Congress works better for lobbyists, corporations, and political insiders than it does for the communities back home.
That’s why I support major accountability reforms in Congress.
Term limits.
Regular town halls.
Banning congressional stock trading.
Lifetime lobbying bans.
Stronger ethics and transparency rules.
Real oversight for politicians using public office to enrich themselves.
Public service should not be a pathway to personal wealth or political power.
If you’re elected to represent the people, then your responsibility is to show up, listen, solve problems, and fight for the communities that sent you there.
That’s the kind of accountability I believe Kentucky deserves.
