Be the CHANGE you want to see. On today (8/14) Troydrick is turning 20 years old and we are asking 814 people or more to donate anywhere from $1-$20 to our Change 4 A Change Campaign. We are asking our community to stand up with us in this endeavor. To donate in Troydrick's honor please go to www.tjdreamzfulfilled.webs.com, Change 4 A Change and click donate and enter your amount.
Your donation will be used to restore the Hilliard Buckner Building (TFDF Youth Center) as a home for tutoring, mentoring, literacy project, resources for fire victims, and other programs to help youth and families in the community. This campaign is ONGOING!

It's that time of year, I'm asking for family, friends, teachers, neighbors, etc. to nominate young men and women between the age of 14-18 (in school only) who are doing great things in their community throughout St. Mary Parish, we want them to run for title of TJ's Teen Mardi Gras King or Queen. All proceeds for this Teen Youth Mardi Gras Ball will be given as TJ's Scholarship Dreamz to seniors throughout St. Mary Parish!

THE PURE INNOCENCE PROJECT
Parents and young ladies get prepared we are looking for you. We are interested in young girls/ladies ages 9-13 years old to be a part of The Pure Innocence Project.We want to teach them that it is ok to say "NO" and mean "NO" w/o being bullied or harrassed into giving in to S*X. We also want to teach them about SAVING THEIR INNOCENCE, LOVING THEMSELF, RESPECTING THEIR BODY, PERSONAL HYGIENNE, AND ETIQUETTE SKILLS! Take the leap MOTHER'S, allow us the opportunity to talk to your PRE-TEENS to see what they are thinking. This event will EDUCATE THEM!

We have to start some place, why not start with our youths! IF THEY KNOW BETTER, THEY COULD DO BETTER! . THE PURE INNOCENCE PROJECT

On June 17, Father's Day, the NAACP, along with 1199SEIU, the National Action Network, and representatives from more than 200 other organizations participated in a silent march to end New York City's notorious "stop and frisk" policy. More than 40,000 people marched in protest of the practice, which racially profiles and disproportionately affects blacks and Latinos in NYC.

Staying focused and positive! When I dreamed about a foundation over three years ago, I always had the thought in my head, then over six months ago, it started to seem surreal because I couldn't to block it out, it was there when I awaken, when I went to bed, and throughout my day. I was focused on reopening another clothing boutique but God had another plan, he was in my spirit telling me this (Troydrick Jenkins Dreamz Fulfilled) was first.
I had no clue as to where to start so I started planning, writing, researching, and asking others for help, God stood beside me and sent an angel (Annette Purposedriven Jones-Ward) to help me, I did not know her, neither did she know me but "God" knew each of our hearts and placed us together to become a permanent structure in each other lives. She has helped me, and I am forever in debt to her.

God not only placed that angel but also another angel, my best friend (Alicia Cross Page) , she and I both had it in our spirits to do something to help kids, little did we know, God wanted us to stand together as one.
God had his hands in our plans because instead of it being two separate entities we combined it into one which is known as Troydrick Jenkins Dreamz Fulfilled Foundation.

Troydrick Jenkins Dreamz Fulfilled Foundation has a passion and a purpose and that purpose is to take back our kids, strengthen them, empower them so that they can utilize their skills for future use to become successful adults.
Although our mission is to help youth , we do have another sector that will help fire victims recover from their loss. This aspect of our mission statement is in memory of our namesake, my son, Troydrick J. Jenkins who died in a house fire.

On last friday, Annette called us to tell us we were approved and were officially a foundation, little did we know that on Sunday we would be stepping forward to help fire victims, GOD is GOOD, All THE TIME!
Every time we take one step, God takes multiple steps and places the right people in our paths and he is continuing to show us signs that he has his hands on TroydrickJenkins Dreamz Fulfilled Foundation.
Although we have a long road ahead of us, we the foundation ask that you pray for us as we continue to do as God has chosen for us to do.
