Burguières Family Assembly is composed of the descendants of Jules Martial Burguières, his first wife Marie Corinne Patout and his second wife, Ida LaPerle Broussard. Spouses and all children age 15 and older are included in the membership.

This beautifully drawn image of the Alamo was created by one of our own, Sam Lathrop, the very talented son of Marie Elise Kimbrough. It is currently hanging in Art on 12, a gallery in Wimberley, Texas. The print is now available in a variety of formats, including on canvas, as a metal print, tote bags, greeting cards, and more. DEADLINE APPROACHING!
The deadline for applications for the Jules M. Burguières Sr. Education Award is less than three weeks away! Please encourage your family members in college or Graduate School to apply. If you applied last year and you are still in school you may reapply again this year.

The Jules M. Burguières Sr. Education Award, created in 2015, was established in recognition of the importance placed on advanced education by Jules M. Burguières, Sr. This is a legacy passed on to all his children and one the Education & Family History Committee and the Family Council has chosen to preserve and support.

The deadline for submissions is October 7th. The awards will be announced on or about December 1st with up to three awards made to qualified applicants. These awards are based on merit, not financial need, and are variable up to the pool limit of $3000.
