Students, parents and colleagues helped us celebrate our 2026 Franklin Educational Foundation Excellent Educator Award winners by sharing what makes these seven educators so special.

Each recipient will receive a $500 award to use toward their classroom or school, or to support continuing education and professional development.

We are incredibly grateful for all of our Franklin educators and the dedication, creativity, patience, and a whole lot of heart they bring to our students each and every day. The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are so thankful for everything you do.

Join us this Saturday night for our kickoff event for the 2026-27 school year hosted by the Franklin Educational Foundation! The Back to School Night event takes place this Saturday, August 15, at the award-winning Franksville Craft Beer Garden beginning at 5pm!

🎵 Live music by Weston Ross (6–9 PM)
🌮 Multiple food trucks
🍺 26 WI craft beer taps, wine, hard seltzers, sodas, and more
🎯 Lawn games, playgrounds, and a sandbox for the kids
🔥 Reserved fire pits and tables for Franklin Public Schools families and staff
Located just 20 minutes from Forest Park Middle School, the Franksville Craft Beer Garden is a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate the end of summer and reconnect with the Franklin school community.

The Foundation will announce the 2026 Excellent Educator Award winners during the event, making it a special evening to recognize the teachers who help our students thrive. We hope to see you there!

The school competition is BACK for the Franklin Glow Run on September 19! We’re once again challenging all Franklin Public Schools to see which school can bring the MOST participants to the Glow Run.

Last year, Country Dale took the title. Students got to SLIME Mr. Blask at a school assembly and the Country Dale staff enjoyed a catered lunch hosted by the Franklin Educational Foundation!
