A Huge Thank You to SAFE’s Amazing Volunteers!

This Easter, because of many of you, foster children in our community received baskets filled with more than just candy—they were filled with love, hope, and the reminder that they are seen and cherished. Each basket was uniquely created, thoughtfully designed, and packed with care by our amazing volunteers under the direction of the incredible Angela Saunders. Whether it was an egg stuffed with a favorite toy, a toothbrush, or a cozy blanket, it made a child smile and your efforts made a lasting impact. Thank you for showing up, for giving your time, and for making this Easter brighter for so many. You reminded these kids that they matter and that makes all the difference.

I wanted to share a friendly reminder about our Foster Easter Basket volunteer day on Saturday, April 5th from 8:30am - 3:00pm (across multiple shifts).

We would love to see you and your families / friends at this event. It's so much fun and truly fills our hearts while we fill Easter baskets to give to foster children and make it a little easier on foster parents! This year, our host location will be Franklin Family Entertainment Center (Bowling Alley). They have been gracious enough to donate their banquet event space to us.

Any monetary and/or item donations help keep our expenses down is appreciated and can be sent via our website www.supportsafe.org. We've been very fortunate to have received donated items for our baskets like personal blankets, cases of Girl Scout cookies for all of our older / teen kiddos, brand new pre-k toys / wooden puzzles and more!
